Jerusalem has been one of the best known cities in the world for the last hundred years and even beyond.
Located in the Judean Mountains, Jerusalem has been the capital city of Israel since its establishment in

It is safe to say that no other city has ever played such a prominent role in the culture and history of the
world's major religions. Jerusalem is the only place that contains holy sites for Judaism, Islam and
Christianity. As a result, many tourists come to Israel every year to visit Jerusalem's numerous holy sites,
such as the Tower of David and the Western wall, also known as the Wailing Wall, that are also most
important Jewish religious sites. Other religious sites include The Church of Sepulchre – where Jesus
was crucified according to the New Testament, and Al-Aqsa mosque that is a significant religious center
for Muslims.
